We bake from Beach Plum Kitchen and everything is made custom to order.
How do I place an order?
Just email Debbie@dessertville.com or call (760) 579-2319 with the details. Texts work too. Always attach inspiration photos and any special requests.
How do I get my order?
We will coordinate a convenient time to meet you at our pick up location which is at:

Please remember to pick up your dessert in a vehicle with AC and make room for your dessert by having a flat, unobstructed area to avoid damage. Non skid carpet grip is recommended to place under your order to prevent sliding while driving.
Can you deliver?
Delivery is free for orders over $50 within the Carlsbad area.

Do you charge for set up?
We provide set up for wedding cake and custom cake orders. Dessert bars can be set up for an additional fee.
Pedestals and platters are available for rent.

*Equipment rentals will be picked up the day after the event on site, between 8a-6p. If another time or location is needed, there will be additional charges.
*If any rental items are damaged or missing the customer will be responsible for the replacement charges for the items.
How soon in advance should I place my order?
Orders are typically taken 2-4 weeks in advance. But keep in mind we can only take a limited amount of orders weekly and we get booked very quickly so the sooner you can place your order the better.

Do I need to leave a deposit?
Specialty cakes and orders over $50 require a non-refundable deposit of 50% and must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the event to hold the date. Keep in mind specialty ingredients may need to be ordered and some decorative work needs to be made in advance.
Full balance payment must be received before the actual event date or other arrangements will need to be made. (some events require desserts to be set before the host will arrive)
How do I cut tiered or stacked cakes?

Dessertville’s Tasting Consultation
Thanks for considering Dessertville as your specialty dessert caterer.
Here are the specifics about setting up a tasting consultation.
Mini dessert selections for dessert bars are for up to 4 tasters and limited to 6 mini menu selections. (ex. lemon meringue tart, salted caramel cupcake, chocolate cake pop, etc)
Cake sampling, please limit your selections to 8 total for cake layers, fillings, and buttercreams.
ex. cake layers- carrot, chocolate, vanilla
filling- caramel buttercream, white chocolate ganache, cream cheese buttercream
frosting- vanilla buttercream
(or we can bring a sampler of our top sellers)
Everything is made from scratch, specifically to order for your tasting, so we charge a $25 fee to cover our costs. Since we do not have a store front we are not just pulling samples off our shelves.
Tasting appointments need to be scheduled at least 10 days prior to the actual tasting meeting date to secure availability.
Tastings are held in La Costa, Carlsbad or we can come to you if your location is in North County San Diego. (An additional transportation fee will be charged for locations outside of North County and prices vary based on distance)
